6InARowMakesItGo seems high. the owner is probably attached to it. i would ask for 30 grand for my 03 but its probably only worth 10 grand.

Reaper0726 A little older but FWIW I bought my 98 TJ almost 4 years ago. 55,000 miles, 4.0 6 cyl, soft top, kc fog lights and new tires all the way around for 8,000. I would bet, with some hunting you could come down closer to 10,000$.

mountainman1 Bought a red 05 TJ Wrangler in excellent condition with a soft top in August with 52,000 on it. Has a 4.0 with 6 speed tranny. Bought it for $11,000. The only thing it needed was new tires since the originals were about worn out. Be patient the deals are out there. I looked for three months to find this one. This dude just wanted payoff.

lukewdavison You should be able to find one for much less with maybe having to travel some 15,000$ is too much for that

Mud-4-Life FWIW I bought mine which was about the same specs as above except mine had about 90,000 miles and a hardtop for about a grand less. Mine also had new tires, brakes, rotors, and KC lights on the windshield. I looked at it as being a good clean rig to start with, it hadn't been hacked up or botched up by someone else.

Is this a good deal?

Is $14,990 a good deal for the following specs? (seller has come down some already during negotiations)

*****
2004 Jeep Wrangler "Sport"
67,500 miles
Stock, not been lifted
Flame Red
2-door (full-size doors)
4.0L I-6 cyl
Automatic
Soft top (new Bestop)
Cruise control
AM/FM w/ CD
Tow hitch
New tires (30x9.5 R15 Owl All-terrain); new spare

It has a clean Carfax report and I had a good third-party vehicle inspection which noted new front rotors and good ones on the back. Seems to be in overall good condition for a 2004.
