FWIW I had a 1" BL on my TJ, and would recommend it to anyone with a TJ trying to do the same as I did. I included a 1" motor mount lift, which helped keep the driveline straight on the very short wheelbase of a TJ.
I would avoid it on a JK, there are not as many clearance problems and the driveline is longer.
If your spring lift is cutting it close, consider new fender flares.

You could always get an additional 1/2-1" spacer in the front. That goes on top of your springs if your worried about sagging. But Like Krawl said...wait to install the lift and see how much it sags..It will take month or so for the weight to actually show a difference.
And yes 35's will clear easy with 2.5" lift. 37's would clear with some more shaving of the pinch seams and rock rails.

A set of shocks will suite you and your ride better but not so much the budget as they are more.
With the RK2.5 Stock Mod, you will not see any sag over time. They took the added weight of aftermarket parts into the desing of these and you will not see them sag. This kit on a 2Dr JK, especially without aftermartket parts, you will net close to 3" of actual lift. The only added things you would need with this kit is shocks, brake line extension brakcets (you can easly DIY these), and bump stops depending on your wheel and tire size. For shocks, the most popular ones for this kit are the Bilstein 5100's. They are a great shocks. With this combo, we have heard from our customers say that this rides better than stock! Both on and off road!

With the Rock Krawler 2.5 set up and progressive rate front springs, I am concerned about the front sagging over time. How much net lift does this system give on a 2 door JK. Also, what would it cost to complete this system, i.e. shocks sway bar links, shocks etc? How does the Rock Krawler ride??

First, if your looking to clear 35's, forgo the body lift. There really is no need in it as the 2.5" lift will clear 35's without any issues...
Second, the TeraFlex is a great kit, especially with the shocks. But, with stock wheels, you will need wheel spacers or you will have clearance issues in the rear. Also, if you don't opt for the kit with the shocks, you will need to address the shocks. Either different shocks or the shock extensions. So, look at this setup instead:
TeraFlex JK 2.5" Lift Kit
Spidertrax Jeep 1.5" 5x5 Wheel Spacers
Now, if you dont like the idea of the wheel spacers. Another great kit to look at would be this one from Rock Krawler. We would just need to add shocks to it or extensions. We recomend the Bilstein 5100's to go with it...

Teraflex 2.5 will clear 35s fine, and you can get that lift for around $700 which includes new springs and the 9550 VSS shocks. No suspension geometry issues at all, stock drive line, and the rest you would need comes complete in the kit.
I don't know much about body lifts but most people don't recommend them for the JKs unless you have a real need for one.

2.5" Teraflex Spring Lift with 1" Daystar Body Lift
I Just ordered a new 2 Door, 6 Speed, Rubicon; I am now looking for everyones thoughts on doing a 2.5" Teraflex Spring Lift and possibly a daystar 1" body lift. The spring lift would come first, followed by the body lift if I ever decided to run 35" tires. I don't "rock crawl" but do go off road in the timber once in a while, so I don't have to be a super flexer.
If I purchased the Teraflex kit without shocks would set me back $475 and the Body Lift $195 (Daystar), then add in $50 for a Gear Shift extension to bring the shifter up to stock height.
That looks like about $720 total for a 3.5 inches of lift without alot of headaches with suspension geometry issues, as can be seen with the larger suspension lifts.
Finally, has anyone done body lift on a JK, and what are some of the issues with steering linkage and brake lines etc.
