New driver, new jeep owner, 17

Hi guys, Mariah here. I'm new to the forum and just purchased my jeep today. She's coming home Wednesday so excited.

She's a '97 wrangler sport. 6banger 4.0 L automatic.

My dad is educating me on what all that ^ means haha. I wanted a manual but since I'm a new driver he insisted I start on an automatic :/

Anyway, I'll have pics posted soon. We bought her used from a girl who had owned it for ten years. She didn't mess with it at all... no mods. I do know that the I think... shocks?... are not stock because apparently the stock ones were crap. And other than a few little things, I do believe everything is pretty much stock... for now. My dad and I plan on playing with it a little after I've driven around for a year or so.

She's blue...but can be seen as a bluish/purple as well. hard top with full doors. I will also have the bars and windows for a soft top so when I can afford, I'll be investing in a soft top for the summer

As of now, all of this jeep talk is jargon to me, but I'm definitely interested in learning all I can. When I was younger my dad took me through a mud hole in his old suburban... I've been curious ever since
