kbwwolf Excellent. Thanks.
10-11-2011 08:49 AM Nope, your good to go. No spacers needed with the 4.5"BS.

XJ Knight 4-4.5 is perfect. most jk owners run 4.5 with 12.5in wide tires

wheel spacer question

Planning on putting 315/75R16 DuraTracs on my 2012 JKU Sahara. Wheels XD 795 Hoss in 16x8 w/4.5 backspacing. Three-inch lift.

Will I need spacers for that?

DuraTracs in the above size can take an 8-10"-wide wheel. The measuring rim width is 8.5" and the section width is 12.3", which means the tire will sit narrower atop the 16x8 rims. Too narrow? Am I going to run into problems if I want to air down off-road?

I always hated math.
