s14sh3r Check this out.

Plasti Dip grille durability with pressure washer - YouTube

Worse case scenario, you don't like it and peel it off. It peels right off and doesn't hurt anything. It pretty much a no-risk mod.

Zjones1994 *sigh* I know what you mean. Its hard to please a dad who hates customizing vehicles (oem man) and a mom who hates the thing and wants to sell it. My dad actually likes it (who knows) and so does she. Im not supposed to go offroading or anything. I even had to comp on the lift and tires.

Committee-X Hmm I'm not sure if it comes off or not since I just did it three days ago. Maybe other members from that thread I posted can testify their durability. I drove it on the freeway in the rain the day after I sprayed it and it was fine. As with the color matching, I haven't pay attention to the red/tan jeep, but anything but those shiny bumpers man.

Zjones1994 Thanks! I have tubes as well. Does it come off like through a car wash or anything? And have you ever seen black with a chili red/tan jeep?

Committee-X Hey I used plasti dip on my bumpers base on the recommendation from this thread.

It actually turns out really nice! So I might keep my tube bumpers for while. In a day or two I can get a photo upload for you of the result. If you do it well it doesn't look like a spray at all.

Zjones1994 how does it look dried? is it all noticable it was sprayed?

s14sh3r Go watch Plastidip vids on Youtube. It's not very expensive, pretty easy to do, and completely reversible if you don't like it

S.S./Chrome to black

I have a chili pepper red pearl jeep tj. It has a tan hardtop and interior(but black roll bar padding). I got it with all the stuff thats on it now (bumper wise). It has ss bumpers/light bar and steps and chrome wheels :/. Along with painted flares I was wondering how it would look with black or what some suggestions are. Price is def an issue (along with convincing rents who beleive its theirs and i just borrow it XD)
