Darryl & Beth episode was more average-ish. Trying to get into Darryl's emotions is unappealling. It was still an OK episode. Interesting they knew what to scavenge from the car to make camp. I was like "why carry all that garbage", then I saw it used in camp.
Out of all the groups out there, I'm most interested in the Scientist & Sgt Ford group. Rick is next. The rest are meh. Next week is focusing on Maggie's group and I don't expect too much excitement. It makes me realize that turn over and introduction of new characters is one of the bigger draws of the show. Loyalty to Rick, but more interest in the new Scientist and Sgt Ford. The other groups would be more interesting too if they run into new people.

|dfry||I hope Dodger has a bigger role. He always plays interesting characters.|

I agree, finally some new excitement.

|laredo||I think the "scientist" thing is a cover to get people to help. When him and the general were at the truck deciding whether or not to leave the truck the scientist said something like "remember, im smarter than you." Like he was trying to reinforce his cover or something. I dont think he shot the truck on purpose, i think he's just to stupid to survive on his own, hence the cover.|

Well a comic reader I know said that the scientist is an "interesting" character. So I'm gonna go ahead and assume he's bound to do more crap that makes us scratch our heads.
The army chick is straight out of a comic book world haha. The damn zombie apocolypse and your walkin around looking like that? Never mind how impractical that is, your just a target for every living male wishing to procreate the species (that's the nice way to say it).
I'm just glad this show has some new damn blood, new plots, new scenery. Eff that prison.
|02-26-2014 07:22 AM|
|GoldenSahara00||Army girl is hot. Scientist is either socially stupid or has an ulterior motive. Zombies were going for glen and the army ginger at first but then the scientist started shooting which is louder.|
|02-25-2014 04:31 PM|
At least we are getting some new characters. That army girl doesn't wear much clothing...
Looks pretty good cleaned up:
|02-25-2014 02:31 PM|
He definitely has something cooking up in his head. Maybe another Governor ?
I also want to know why all the Zombies were walking towards him and not the Loud, Sweaty, Making a ton of movement fight that was going on behind the truck haha.
|02-25-2014 02:20 PM|
|HarryJeepGuy||I can't say he shot the truck on purpose, he had such a hard time getting the gun to work with no one watching. With the guy he's traveling with, I'm sure he got shown how it works. Even if not, to get this far and not know? I call BS. The walkers are brainless, it's the people that are the bad guys. To believe such a story after what everyone has gone through at this point is just ridiculous to me.|
|02-25-2014 02:12 PM|
|jakewp11||I think Eugene (scientist) shot the tank on purpose too. I think he knows something bad was ahead and didn't want to head into it. That's why he convinced them to back track instead of continuing on their way.|
|02-25-2014 02:02 PM|
|HarryJeepGuy||I don't believe the "Scientist" story at all. It's a cover to get people to help him/not kill him/do what he wants. You're telling me this evil grinning tard is smart enough to get a degree but has no idea how to use the gun he's traveling with this far into the apocalypse? Sounds like a cover that was started to pick up chicks, lol.|

|jfearin77||Yeah scientist is def a wild card. Im little suspicious about the fact that wash dc stopped communicating three weeks ago, that can't be good. And they are 3 hrs past the bus. That's long way on foot. Ricks escape was great. Can't wait to check in on Daryl, and no word of judith an company in couple weeks. Curious to see this sanctuary.|

|dfry||Anyone notice the smirk on the so-called "scientists" face as they were walking away? Also, I believe Rick killed the guy in the bathroom...and he turned into a walker. That was the ruckus and shooting in the house as Rick and co made their escape. Maybe he was munching on the guy on the floor?|
|02-24-2014 06:30 PM|
|GoldenSahara00||That's hilarious! Yeah idk I feel like the scientist I just a social idiot... But brain smart. He obviously couldn't shoot. Even if you are in a conspiracy you don't strand yourself like that... You still want to survive. I agree I like the new group though, glen is just being stupid though. Senseless romantic. The Rick house thing was really good/ high suspense. I loved it. Finally getting good again!!' They have purpose with the scientist guy and finding the new sanctuary place and meeting up/finding each other etc. not just sitting around or runnin in the woods.|
|02-24-2014 06:22 PM|
|Marthor||In the talking show after they said that Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) stunt of climbing off the roof and hanging on the gutter was distracted by Daryl (Norman Reedus) mooning him during the shot. LOL|
|02-24-2014 01:52 PM|
|Bullethead||I agree he's a bit odd but possibly focused. I'm just getting a sense that perhaps he meant to shoot the Gas tank. I'm going conspiracy here. Just one angle to take.|
|02-24-2014 01:45 PM|
|Marthor||That's why I called him "nerdy". He acts different focusing on logic and dismissing emotion. At least he's calm. I like that better than a high-strung brain. You can see he's narrowly focused. When he's walking, it's matter-of-fact to the task and he's not interested in socialization. When they were "fighting" with Glenn at the truck, he was totally not involved in the fight. He observed and made a logic call. He lacks some common sense though perhaps to try to engage the zombies himself when he wasn't really trained for that.|
|02-24-2014 01:07 PM|
|Bullethead||Did you get the vibe that the scientist didn't seem all that upset he shot the gas tank of the truck?|
|02-24-2014 12:45 PM|
Graet episode. Lot's of action, suspense, drama and creepiness.
I like the new group with Sgt Ford and the scientist. They've got a mission and they also have to find Maggie. That scientist has nerd social issues which is hilarious.
Rick trapped in the house was intense. Did he kill that guy or just put him to sleep like the other guy was put to sleep?
|02-20-2014 05:18 AM|
|Bullethead||The sister said "she's not right" or "somethings wrong with her".|
|02-19-2014 11:34 PM|
|jfearin77||I agree completely. Lizzie probably killed sick two and carol covered it up. Lizzie was prolly feeding the walkers those rats, that's how budding psychopaths evolve. Im trying to remember when the dad died, carol called Lizzie weak and the sister said she wasnt weak but was ______ ? Anyone remember? Might be a clue also.|
|02-19-2014 01:00 PM|
Carol would have been concerned about a little killer girl on the loose. Then again, maybe that's why Carol was heading back to the prison?
If that really happened, it was Carol that covered it up though moving the bodies and burning them.
|02-19-2014 12:37 PM|
Good point. Exhibit A would be glen running through the horde in riot gear. Perhaps, since its been a year or so since the outbreak, the walkers are only a secondary threat now?
Primary threats being other survivors and starvation imo. Just playing devil's advocate. Your absolutely right the whole scene was predictable.
|02-19-2014 09:12 AM|
|CoreyZ||Wasnt about her wanting to know if he was alive on that bus... but more of the same old "bunch of walkers behind a door... lets open it thinking they wont bum rush" that has happened so often that its old and predictable. I think there were other ways that they could have handled it, but it seems like none of the characters have any sort of tactical thinking and just think they can punch their way through any situation.|
|02-18-2014 08:27 AM|
No doubt in my mind now that Lizzie killed those two sick people back at the prison. Girl was smothering a baby. Not even the gun shot from her little sister snapped her out of that trance. Carol was just covering for her. That's why she acted so cold about it.
The rest of the show, yes highly predictable, but are you telling me that you wouldn't want to know if Glen was in that bus if he was your fiance? Are you telling me that you could easily walk past Sascha and not feel guilty?
I can't wait to see the hunters (the guys at the end). Haven't seen Abraham since Band of Brothers ha.
CoreyZ + St1264, the last two seasons were shit. That is obvious. That is why the first half of this season felt like a retread. From what I've read it was a new show runner's way of correcting the crap that was Season 2 and 3. This show appears to be on the uptick, lets see what happens in the next 6 episodes.
|02-17-2014 04:57 PM|
Some can say the decisions of the characters were dumb but if you have ever been in an emergency situation with people then you know people make dumb decisions in high stress situations ALL the time.
|02-17-2014 02:07 PM|
|st1264||^ Yes. Very predictable plot lines... but I'm still watching and being entertained. If you scrutinize a tv show too much, you'll be disappointed in the end.|
|02-17-2014 01:17 PM|
EH, I thought this episode was crap.. in fact both from this half of the season were. Carl needs to get his head slapped on straight and the rest of the gang is just flat out stupid. Who else went "Oh come on" when Carol walked out with the little psycho and the giant pansy? I mean really ... Lizzie and her almost asphyxiation of Judith was pretty dark... but when the dumb one fired at the walkers and whats his name didnt turn around immediately to go help... I had a "wtf is your problem" expression. I mean, the 2 guys he was helping were both already bit... whats the problem with running back to help the girls?
Then there was Maggie, Sascha and the other guy... that was a real lame story line. As soon as she was mentioning she wanted to let 1 walker out at a time I immediately said out loud "Yeah, that will work for the first couple and then something will go wrong and they all will pile out"... and sure enough. I honestly did picture Glenn as the one she stabbed at the end though.
Glenn's story line was a lil better but not a whole lot. At least his was somewhat watchable.
Daryl and the sister's was a good one... at least they had a good head on their shoulders.
I do think however that the new "town" is quite ominous...
