andrewsudderth Alright I have my mind set I'm going with the bestop replace-a-top in black denim with the tinted widows and upper half doors. Anyone have the same top installed?

andrewsudderth Ok thanks for all the info! I've found some good deals on the bestop replace-a-top, but I can't find the black diamond material. All I can find is black denim. How do they compare?

TJWenatchee My opinion, Bestop is a much better top. I too have a trektop NX.

wolfsbone01 I've had a Rugged Ridge XHD and I was happy with it until the zipper blow out because of NM's silt dust, I then decided to replace it with another, but when I got it, rear zipper was missing teeth and it was harder to put on the first, so that one got returned and I got the Bestop Replace a Top instead and I've been very happy with it. Hope this helps a bit.

SirGeorgeKillian Trecktop NX owner here. I would take a look at them if you are open to ideas. I love mine, and it is super simple to use.

et43011 Hey I own a bestop sailcloth top, idk if that's in your price range or what you're looking for, but its a great top. The zippers and big and easy to use, complete setup takes me about 20 minutes, that's after many trials and errors (read the instructions before doing it! Trust me it helps) Never had a leak and its sturdy. Doesn't slap going down the highway at around 70 like some. Its a good top for the money and the ease of use is wonderful. That's just my opinion, id wait till someone with the other type of top posts something, just don't rush into buying a soft top. Make sure its something you want. Good luck with whatever you do

andrewsudderth Ok thanks for the input. Anyone here have the top and like it?

tysalem I would go with bestop. Yeah, you pay more, but you will get your money's worth. I like my RR XHD bumper, but I don't know how the soft top would hold up.

andrewsudderth Anyone???

andrewsudderth Ok I'm in the market for a new soft top. I want the black diamond material and I want it to be better than the one I have on now(factory). I've been looking at the Rugged Ridge XHD top and it looks great for the price but what I've heard is to go with the Bestop Replace-a-Top. What I want to know is what's the major differences between the two? I'd much rather spend $400 than $550. Any input would be great. Thanks!
