|IndyJeepMan||I will be posting pictures of my artec truss system when it comes in and gets welded on I was going to do a flange adapter but since im doing a cv shaft anyways, ill just get one made to fit the 1310 u joint.|

|billytheyj||I may be wrong but I don't think there is an adapter ujoint. There is a flange adapter that you will need so it will mate up with your drive shaft. More or east coast gear supply should have it.|

I looked on the Artec site and only saw one for a tj, their stuff looks really nice though. I will have to check out their other stuff. thanks
When I removed the rear end I just cut the drive shaft in half just in front of the u joint with a sawzall. Since I still have the flange can I just run a adapter u joint? Or do I need a special flange. thanks

I just pulled a 3.73 LSD 8.8 today from a 95'
Three things on that list.. Well maybe even 4 that id personally change.
For the gears id go with a Motive Gear 4.88 RP save like $50 bucks.
For the brackets I would go with Artec Industries with truss, helps with tube spin and bending, but costs close to $400. Its what I have ordered!
G2 cover, id personally go with a Riddler if you can make it work, or a solid diff cover. Around the same price.
Then last, get the zj e brake cables that will work instead of spending $100+ itll be much cheaper, but a little more labor.
And like 4jeepn said, a full case locker would be ideal.

|4Jeepn||You might want to go with a full case locker, as supposedly the carrier is weak and prone to cracking with a lunch box locker.|

ford 8.8 explorer rear
I picked up my ford 8.8 rear out of a 1998 explorer today. I had to remove it myself but only cost me $100. Looks pretty good and the brakes look new too. I am going to put this in my yj and have read all of the 8.8 builds I could find. Here is the list of what I need to get yet. If you have any better...cheaper options please chime in. thanks

Locker not sure what to get yet maybe a spartan locker $300
MORE ebrake cables from jeep to ford rear $133
I have guy to put the rear toghether once I get all the parts. Any info before I order would be appreciated. thanks
