alcapon1 WoW! so the Por 15 is good stuff? I steel wooled under the left fenders and painted black Rustoluem on one side. Was this a mistake? I am concerned about prepping it now for that side....

Oh, i wanted to say that I understand prep is everything..... I always go overboard in prep because it yields the best result,no argument there.

Agree....three step.
Stuff is like iron once painted on.

rjeepr Does he plan on having his jeep upside down? Def use the 3 step and clean everything and all loose dirt and rust needs to be removed well

If you go this route, make sure you do the 3 step process to apply it. Also cover it with spray on paint or bed liner because the UV rays will eat up por.

Ya, I am going to go the same route. I was thinking Herculiner but undercoat maybe a better solution. I painted under one fender with black rustoleum rust proofer paint and it looks great. I don't like the sound of trapping dirt and water so undercoat it is.....

P0234 I could see doing it on a new truck after doing the proper prep work. On an older truck I'd be scared it would de-laminate and start trapping water/dirt.

Hurculiner under the fenders and underneath?

Hi everyone, I want to put undercoat inside the fenders/under body. I was wondering if this is a good idea? I was hoping to reduce noise from rocks hitting and have a better look from underneath.....

Should I use Herculiner or just some black rust proof paint?
