allen456 I 85 exit 120 Hamilton mill rd, turn west and go approx 2-3 miles to ridge rd (Kroger will be on your left) turn right. First street on the right is S Puckett rd. Come up to the end of the church and you will see the entrance for jeeps and tractors. Pm'd you my number if you have any questions. Invite anyone you want, the more the better.

BHall1244 Allen can you please tell me where this event is taking place? I tried to go to the link that you posted but I am having trouble getting there. I am in Tricity Krawlers out of Columbus, GA and and might consider coming if it's not to far. Thank you.

Tractor Show/ Pull with Jeep Meet/Show

Fellow Jeepers,
Hope everyone is doing well. November 4th and 5th, there is the annual Georgia Old Iron Tractor Show/Pull in Buford off Hamilton Mill and Ridge Road at the Zion Hill Baptist Church. I have obtained permission for us to have a “Jeep Show” of sorts the same day in the field. There is no charge if you want to line up your toy and show it off and have a great time. At this point, I want to keep it simple, not planning on any contest of any sort. It is all about us getting together and talking jeeps while watching some tractors scoot down the track pulling a professional sled. There will be donations accepted by the church for the use of the land and I will be holding a fundraiser in support of JDRF Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( my 3 year old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last December). Should be a fun time for everyone, bring the family. If anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to pm me.

Please come to the church entrance off of South Puckett Rd, they will let you onto the field and tell you where to go. Friday is a “play around day” and Saturday is the show, tractor parade, and pull. They prefer that you show up early on Saturday morning around 8am to start lining up, but later is ok. If you have a Jeep that must be trailered, you need to either bring it on Friday ( you can leave it, there is overnight security) or early Saturday morning.

If possible, please let me know if you are going to bring your jeep to show/line up so that I can provide them with a good count of expected Jeeps.

Thanks,
Allen
