Filling the transmission through the shift tower?

So I have an AX-5 transmission, and of course as many of you may know the fill for the transmission is in a ridiculous spot.

I currently have my interior out and easy access to the shift tower, so I was wondering if i could just fill my transmission through there and save myself the crazy funneling setup
