I too left a bit more lip than some... Easier to remove more later than try to put it back...

Would i be able to fit 33''s if i trimmed the front fender flares like that?

I failed miserably trying to use a dremel, then a multi tool. It just gets too hot and it looks like crap. Luckily, I realized this after only getting through 1/4 of the first flare.
The box knife, exacto, razor blade works the best. Just follow your line carefully and slowly. Make a few passes, cutting deeper with each pass. As InfernoGirl mentioned, just bending them in will break them off after the knife.
I left a little more lip on mine than some of the nice Jeeps pictured above. About an inch and a half or so. The fronts are now gone because I put MCE flat fenders on. The lip of the rear flare matches the flare on the flatty fenders.

|InfernoGirl||Mark them with chalk or tape or what ever is handy, use a very sharp razor knife/box cutter, and score them along your line, bend it in and peel it off. Sand smooth any stuff stuck inside and finish with a fresh coat of Krylon|

I was planning on trimming my TJ fender flares for more wheel clearance, Was wondering if anyone knows the best way to go about it, i was just going to cut the side off the fronts, so it gave it a thinner look and i dont know what to do with the rear flares....any tips? easy way to do this?! or can anyone post some examples of what they have done ? appreciate it! thanks
