im pretty sure it has to do with if your jeep has ABS or doesnt have ABS. the bigger ones are if you have ABS and the smaller ones are for if you don't ABS. If i were you i would just buy both sets, if you can, and return the ones that don't fit. it will save you a bunch of time. I have the bigger ones and advance auto didn't have but Autozone did. when i say bigger i mean the caps are slightly bigger in diameter...

|rd-wrangler||i just went through this over the weekend... this i what i found out... there are 2 different sizes of U joints. small and big. i had the bigger sized ones. i had to go to 2 auto stores and match them up. most of the ones that they sell are the small sized ones. not sure what the reason behind have 2 sizes is but im trying to figure that out.|

|Mr Mac||If it's the stock U-joint you can call the local dealers parts department and ask them which one is the correct one and then go from there.|

So, my YJ started making this clunking noise in the front right tire, today, I took it apart and saw that the U Joint is really loose inside, so, Im assuming a new U Joint, but when I started navigating the internet and through several of parts websites, there are several of U Joints for the YJ! Im just wondering if there all diferente or if its just quality difference.
