|TJWenatchee||Yep. Sounds like hydraulic pressure is still getting to the gearbox telling it to turn even though you have stopped turning the wheel. My Dad had an old pickup that started doing that. It was a bad hydraulic valve in the steering box that was staying open too long.|

|necromancer_tat||If it keeps turning after you stop applying pressure, then you've got a problem. Normally a Jeep will return to center after you let go of the wheel. If you are at a dead stop, and your wheel keeps turning after you let go of it then something is wrong with your gear box.|

|bwpilot20||Not lifted, it's totally stock except for having aftermarket 15 inch rims and 31 inch BFG's... Is it normal to have 2 inches or so of tire sticking out beyond the fender flares?|

|bwpilot20||Used to have an F-250 but have never driven a vehicle where the steering wheel would continue turning to the stops with just a little flick, especially when the jeep is at a complete stop... Just seems like there is no resistance or maybe the pump is pushing extra pressure that keeps the turn going??? I'd love it, but on road handling just takes too much effort because I have to literally stop the wheel from turning once it starts, which causes me to overcorrect back and forth. I know what you mean about the turning radius and if I do a tight turn I actually have to stop the wheel to prevent turning too tight because it will continue on its own with no resistance unless I physically hold the wheel.|

Strange Power Steering Issue
Hey everyone, just bought a wrangler yesterday and joined this forum today!
Anyways, I've got an interesting "problem" with my steering... its too sensitive... And yes it is a problem because when I'm driving down the highway it only takes maybe an inch of movement to tear across to another lane and I find myself always overcorrecting. I thought maybe it was just me being new to jeeps, but I noticed that when I'm at a complete stop with the e-brake set, I can simply flick the wheel with one finger and the steering will turn on its own all the way to the lock in either direction... That's how sensitive I'm talking about...
Anybody got any ideas? The jeep seems to be in alignment, I can let go of the wheel and it tracks straight forever on its own...
