Hey: Somerset Co. NJ

First many thanks for the information contained within this site as it has definitely influenced my Jeep tweaks.

I recently purchased an 05' from a NJ State Trooper and have been having a blast getting it setup the way I want it (at least for now). Engine and all is in great shape and of course it needed new tires. I went with a simple 2" spacer lift with 33" x 10.5" BFG KO's primarily for snow and limited off road (and it looks great). Went with spidertrax spacers which lowered the center of gravity and now it drives better than when i picked it up. Added a rancho steering stabilizer and new sway bar links due to with DW at 53MPH and now it feels pretty safe for winter driving along with my kids. Loved doing my own research and reviewing the forum for ideas and opinions as I've been planning this for a while.

Looking forward to getting on the trail with it and learning what a relatively stock jeep can do on the trails. CB is in but the SWR is out of tune and trying to currently figure that one out. Planning to get some trail time in next spring with a local club and enjoy. Other radio's are in as well as a wheelin slimlighter and flashpack for local FF/EMT volunteering. Been lucky enough to enjoy the other car, a camaro SS, and its great to go back and forth given the different handling characterisitics. Really makes you appreciate both for very different reasons.

See you out there in the Morristown NJ area.
