I knew a guy who changed his oil every 150k miles. He was rather famous at the national Neon Enthusiasts club. There's nothing wrong with that if you know what your're doing. The old 2.0 Chrysler DOHC burns almost no oil. Running a synthetic in an engine that does not cook or cox the oil, you may as well never change it.

Jeepin117 I just got it in the mail today only it was L35, bringing the jeep in for lube oil and filter tomorrow, and have them take care of that too. Last time they changed the software on my jeep it ran much better (throttle response) I hope this doesn't mess it up....

wrangler0 I had mine done today, no different in how the jeep drives from what i can tell...

I had another PCM flash done in Sept. when I went in for an acceleration issue.
They looked up my VIN and saw it needed some kind of update related to the transmission.

It ran SO much better after that!
Throttle response was like it was before those acceleration issues.

Of course the service guy tried to sell me a fuel injection cleaning as well to help with the acceleration issue! HA!

20Sahara11 I received this recall in the mail Saturday. I will wait also, not worth them f'n something else up while it is in there. Which we all know they will.

radtype I had my oil changed yesterday and they did the recall at the same time - paperwork indicated 0.2 hours labor (no charge to me) for part change.

10to10 I got the same recall last week...everything works great now so I hate to bring it in and have them mess something up. I think I will wait on getting this done, I somhow sense a loss in hp/torque with the new reprogram of the software...lol.

RECALL on Calif. 2010,2011 Jeeps

I just received a recall notice from Jeep, for the PCM on 2010 & 2011 Jeeps. They state" The PCM may have been INADVERTENTLY programmed with software that may not run the DOWNSTREAM OXYGEN SENSOR SLOW RESPONSE MONITOR as frequently as required by regulations. This can allow an improperly operating Oxygen to go undetected and result in excessive exhaust emissions which may exceed EPA and California Emissions Standards." RECALL L34. Bringing HER in Tuesday for reprogramming. Lets' seen what happens. She runs great now, but nobody has put their paws on her either. Bob- Calif. strikes again:
