njatrtljp I figured the best thing i could buy would be the pre maid kits, like the trail jammer. i guess i was just trying to get a bigger bang for my buck if it was possible at all. i am not saying that it can be made, the trail jammer kit sound pretty sweet, but like everyone I am just trying to make my money as worth while as i can.

1BLKJP Well I would say that the largest gain enhancement that the entire kit does is the add on module for your PCM. The throttle body etc... can be bought else where, but anywhere you look you are going to pay a pretty penny for a 62mm TB.

Scout When dealing with electronics and computer systems I would go with something that has already been proven. I.E. a kit that is already complete and ready to go even if you have to spend the extra $$$. I think you'll be happier in the long run.

You can never tell how a home brew kit can affect the performance of your Jeep.

What are you trying to accomplish by building your own kit?

SurfnSnow you might be able to find the parts cheaper on ebay.

comprable parts to trailjammer kit.

Hello all. I know that the trail jammer kit has been brought up a bit here lately. I like the kit but want to try to make a system like this out of seperate parts that can perform the same or better and hopefully costs less. If anyone has any ideas about parts that could accomplish this i would greatly apreciate any advise.
