That is awesome man I figured it wouldnt just stop at where were at butmy family thinks its so funny that im puttin all this into it when he cant even walk yet! so he might be able to push the pedal to make it go but not know how to steer or anything else lol But yea i think parts are a little cheaper for this one than mine and mine is already at its max till its paid off. So yea im all in on this one for now lol, how did you rig up the suspension and and motor and all?

cavsvet74 Getting back to the winch, if you can find an extra motor for the power wheels, you can use that to power the winch. It uses the same voltage and should have enough power to winch the Jeep but not enough (I think) to remove fingers.

That is an awesome job on the power wheels!
I actually watched videos on you tube about this dont really think ill be wiring a bunch of batteries on but i can hook up either 1 12 volt or 1 18 volt to same motor and all so later once he gets bigger its an idea

Yea man I know eactly what you mean i looked for one and the only ones I could find was kinda pricey so i kinda gave up the look then my wife dragged me to a childrens sale (yea stood in line at like 6 in the morning, I was pissed at first) but yea got some good deals and on our way out saw this jeep sittin in the last room for $15 said "it needed a battery" so thought hey ill buy a battery and try it if it dont work im only out 15 bucks, and it worked so i started painting for about 4-6 weeks on the weekends at like 9 oclock at night on with a few beers and ALOT of cans of spray paint and news papers i was painting!
If you do find one one ill make a suggestion, got to lowes and get a few of those clamps that pop on to the end of metal rods there like little caps youll see when you take the power wheels apart its on the wheels and the steering wheel. I didnt take mine off so there are a few places not really viewable that isnt painted due to hard to get spray can, so yea look at it good and take it all apart even the little clamps for the hood all come off(take them apart once you get them off so you dont spray the metal spring) I did so didnt work good then lol but if you find one hit me up if you need any help! also ill keep a look out on craigslist around here for ya!

This is exactly what i tried to do at first had and spool and a mount to mount it to the front bumper but then was gonna put it on and had no way to stop the spool from unrolling it was a little smaller than this so had like 50' of clothes line rope on it I couldnt figure out a way he could stop it and
so now ive went with a fishing reel and put a little smaller rope on it now just got to mount it but if there was a way he had to stop this im all ears!

That thing look awesome thought exactly what i had in mind!

jeepnpr Need to figure out how to put some real rubber tires on that thing so it won't bounce and slide around as much, plus it will get better traction and give it a bit of a lift too!

strider_mt2k Then you are jamming.

Never quite had the chance to figure out 4WD for those, though it was a topic one night long long ago.

I love it my wife tells me all the time that im more excited about this than he will be since hes only 1 and cant even really ride/drive it yet!
I've done a little robotics research utilizing an old powerwheels Jeep. -yes robotics.

If the little Jeep you have only has one motor on one wheel it is pretty easy to add one on the other side and bump up the drive capability.

daddyjeep That is awesome. I remember when my boys rolled their power wheels Jeep. The velcro seat belts actually held them in the seat upside down.
