rebelBullDawg325 the flat fenders i want in the future, way down the line. are the TNT customs bolt on's. and i'll be doing their sliders and crusher corners at the same time. so the ARB, in this case is cheaper. i get one new for about 650. thanks for you're help scout. i think i'm just gonna go with the ARB and in several years when i decide to finally spring on the flattys and all that i'll take it off and recoop some of my money by selling it used. i wont be doing flat/tubes until i've got new axles sprung over and hopefully a 350. so its gonna be several years. not like 1 or 2

TXST8tj for what the ARB costs, you can do flat fenders and a bumper of another design/brand.

Scout Well if that's what you're using it for then the ARB will be perfect. I t-boned a Chevy truck when I had my ARB and it didn't have a scratch on it. The guy in the truck had to crawl through the passenger door to get out.

(he was driving the wrong way on a one-way street)

rebelBullDawg325 its gonna be more than just a little while. and the type of driving i do, espicially while hunting, a big beefy bumper like that will be very useful for me. we dont have many rocks around here so i dont really need a stinger. but i'll weigh out all my options before making any purchases. and thanks scout, let me know if ya find that pic

Scout The ARB is nice but it's also really heavy. IIRC it's in the 100+ pound range. Add a winch to that and it's in the 150 pound range so you may want to consider running some sort of spacer up front too.

I saw a picture of a Jeep with an ARB and tube fenders on another forum but I couldn't find it yesterday. I'll look around some more and see if I can find it.

AzTJ Thats quite a price to pay to only keep it for a while. And I'm sure you'd be much more happy with something simpler. Plus the money you save not buying the ARB you can spend elsewhere on your Jeep.

rebelBullDawg325 thats what i was thinkin scout. is that more so than the look, it would reduce the effectivness of the tube fneders. but it's gonna be a while before i'm ready for the tud fenders, like a couple years. i may just get the arb for now and keep it until i'm ready, then sell it and get a stinger of some sort when i get flatty's

Scout I wouldn't advise it. I had an ARB Bull Bar before my tube fenders. The bumper is massive. Especially where it covers underneath the front of the fenders. On of the purposes of the fenders is to give your tires the ability to contact the obstacle first which in turn increases your approach angle.

AzTJ I think it will look goofy... plus the ARB is $$$ . Get a shorty of some kind.

rebelBullDawg325 but i cant find any pics of the ARB bull bar with flat tube fneders. thats the main thing i'm wonderin is how that will look. i;m thinkin it wont be too apeasing to the eyes. and odds are the big bull bar will hamper the actual off road effect of the tube fenders
