Tommy2Times I've got a DEI brand remote start. The same company that used to years ago make viper, it may have changed. I love it and would never have a jeep without it. You can add am extended distance antenna to the starter. My jeep starts well well over 200 250 yards away. In open areas and busy city with conflicting signals. It's great to get into a warmed up jeep in the winter! Not only for being comfortable, but the engine is warmed up as well as the trans. I think it'll extend the life of my jeep personally. I haven't cleared frozen windows in years the defrost comes on and i'm always ready to go.

PecosRiver I have the Viper Smart start and it's OK. Weak signal areas make it useless and you'll need a remote in the Jeep to use when that happens. I keep the remote in the door pocket.

Ruthless Reign Mopar sells one and they send you two blank keys that replace your current ones. However, i went with the cheaper option and had one installed where to have the jeep start up i press "lock-unlock-lock" but i dont remember the brand

Remote Starter

I have a 2011 Rubicon and am looking to install a remote starter. I was considering the Viper Smart start so I can avoid have two remotes. I was curious if anyone had any experiences with Viper. And does anyone know of a system that can be integrated into my current key so I will still only have one remote? Thx in advance
