Thanks Guys and Gals!

After reading those replies, I think I'll save some money and not buy the bikini or brief, rather just throw my soft top over and buckle down w/o the side windows. Thanks Again!

debruins yeah if you dont put the side windows in it takes all of like 30 seconds, its just the windows take forever to get in!

n8smitty For rain storm protection the soft top is about the best. I've had to stop a few times this "winter" and throw the soft top up because it started to rain. It takes about a min to throw the top up and secure it down. I have the Clover Patch window roll so I just unclip it and throw it in the back seat, put up the top and stay dry. I put the windows on once I'm at work and in the parking garage.

Unlimited In my opinion, it's actually faster the put the soft top up (without the windows) than it is to put a bikini top on. On mine, you just flip the top up, clamp the front down and then slip the rear edges under the rail. My safari top has seven straps that you have to mess with, plus getting the front properly seated into the rail (assuming it's already installed).

tobycat1 Or you can do like me. drive 2 hours to work at a summer camp with the top down, then have a freak summer storm. put the top on without the windows and drive 2 hours in a big storm back home at the end of the week

debruins with some practice you can get the soft top up just as quick as long as all your zippers are still good, thats what takes most of the time, trying to ge the fricken zippers started on the side windows!

Summer Brief?

I am thinking about purchasing a summer brief or bikini for the spring and summer seasons. Are they that much faster to attach than my regular soft top when rain looks imminent. Could I get away with just throwing my soft top up and over and securing it just as fast and easy when we do get those sudden rain storms?
