CJS98TJ Oh and nice Fords! Both of you.

CJS98TJ Thanks for the great info guys! I appreciate it. I have been WANTING to collect everything I need to run 37s but money is a huge factor.... I just thought that if I had the proper axles to run 37s that they would be one thing I could cross off the list in order to do so... I have a lot of needs / wants and was hoping that maybe a set of axles would start it for me, but where I'm located it's hard to find such options, or I'm just looking in the wrong places..

Btw I have been following the golden eagle thread... Great Job!!

No single rear wheel, the old guy I bought it from said he ordered it that way in late 76 and it sold as a 77 with the pick up bed too,

Its hard to find the 60/70 combo, I had one it was an old tow truck from the late 76 it was a great truck but someone liked it better then me, stolen and striped, I made the mistake of building a 60 for my mud truck and ended up buying a $400 drill bit to bore the axle tubs out to use 35 spline shafts in it.

This combo is out of an f150. F 250s came with 44/60 combo and if you got lucky you could find some f 250s with the 60/60 combo and then the f350 with 60/70 combo, I built old ford trucks before the jeep craze

Ibuildembig Regular cab would have coil springs and radius arms with the wedges cast into the housing...yes

Super cab would have leaf springs with pads

CJS98TJ The guy just responded to me saying that a guy was already buying them... well thanks for you help anyway! What's the difference in the front axle with what can the truck had? The cast mounts?

Ibuildembig What are they out of? A regular cab or supercab? It makes a difference on the front axle.
