|md41969||Have had the rear for over a year, good product. Running OME springs and didn't notice any drop once it was on. Only issue I have had is the latch broke but was an easy fix.|

I measured my JKU before and after I installed the front bumper and it dropped about 1/8".

As you know I recently lifted my Jeep and replaced the wheels and tires. My first version of my mod was estikated at too high a number to even seriously think about. With some help from the forum members, and some discussions with a number of vendors that support this site, and my local Jeep shop, I was able to reduce that number by a third. I also learned a ton about what is and is not important to the performance of a Jeep. All this took me about 7 weeks. I could have taken longer, but I felt much better about my spend money once philosophy.
Now I have what I want, and it is even more capable than it was when it came home from the dealer.

With front and rear bumpers it really comes down to personal opinion on the looks and features like winch compatability and tyre carriers etc.
As for the lift, I would recommend finding a local club and go on a few runs with them with it stock. Let them know you are new at it and they will go easy on you. After a few runs you will find out any weaknesses for your requirements and with suggestions from others will come to a solution.
Dont jump into suspension upgrades, find out what YOU need first, much much cheaper in the long run!

I haven't gone off road yet (only owned it since Nov. 12) but I would enjoy some light trail stuff. Don't have any interest in going over rocks, this is my DD afterall.
I agree I probably don't need the spare support, but I like the look of the bumper. Am I running into this too quickly?

Like I said, a bumper that light shouldn't affect you too much. Are you planning on a lift down the road? Intend to do any wheeling?
Just curious. Unless tires larger than 33" are in your future, you have no need for a rear bumper with a tire carrier. Could always go with a different brand, save a few hundred $$ for other things you might want.

At 65 lbs, it shouldn't cause too much sag on your springs (assuming stock, since you didn't specify). Front and rear together may be a different story. I think the rear has a built-in tire carrier, so it's probably heavier. You can correct any sag they cause with spacers, most likely.
