It has been a great bonding time, but I have created a monster - she now wants to drive it, wheel it and get her own. There are worse things!!!

Thanks.

Wojohowitz Look's like a great overhaul! I'm really digging looking at all the pics and descriptions of your build. I'm getting ready to start working on my '91 YJ that we just picked up last Thanksgiving, and this has inspired me to what I have to look forward to on the tub, dash, frame, etc.....

Great Job!!

HUGICR This job will never be "done" but the list that I set out to do is complete minus the decals. Took her out today to stretch her legs.

BT What a transformation. That is amazing. Great job you two! Can't wait till I have a kid of my own to tackle my YJ.

I really did not want chrome either, but the black was too much. I may have them painted to match the body. We will see once we have the rest of the pieces on. Yes they are 31s

HUGICR We have doors!! All that is left is bumpers and little odds and ends. Oh and of course the list of things that I already have going for after this project. It will never be done!
02-26-2012 04:56 PM
HUGICR 98% DONE!!!! It is back on he road... Could not put the doors on yet because you cannot buy power coated hinges for a 94 or 95. So I had to buy stainless and take them to be powder coated. I also have not got the bumpers yet. It felt so good to drive down the road. I LOVE MY JEEP!!!

Gate53 You realize that not only are you creating a great Jeep but, you are also creating an almost limitless pool of potential son-in-laws in raising a Jeep Girl that can and wants to turn a wrench. lol Great build!!! Can't wait for the final unveiling.
