gixxerphil I think on a 7 inch wheel you may be pushing it if you air down, but I may be completely wrong. If the Off Road shop told you it'd fit, I'd at least get it in writing so if something where to happen then you should be covered

new wheels? need some help with sizing of the wheel

I an getting new tires and wheels for Christmas and can't decide. I need wheels that will fit a 33/12.5/15 tire so that would be a 15x8. some wheels that I like are 15x7 and I was wondering if I could run a 12.5 inch wide tire on only a 7 I change wide wheel. The off road place I called said it would be no problem because that 33 on only a 15 inch wheel would have such a big sidewall that there wouldn't be any ballooning. Is this true and would I have any problems with airing down my tires. Thanks so much.
