^This^ Use a set of channel locks to get a good grip and you'll be able to back the screws out of the nutserts...

YjMudslinger im not much help but i just bought some 7 inch flares also, havnt got a chance to put em on or take the stock ones off yet, im sure theres some odd technique you gotta do to get em off

7" fender flares

1994 yj, just bought 7" fender flares and cannot figure out how to take the stock ones off! I believe a have found the screws that go through backed by "rivet looking base". The back side or base just spins. I cannot keep it from spinning no matter what I use? This cannot be this freakin hard! Any suggestions? Any pics?
