tyborbogdan I think I'm gonna take the window to an auto upholstery place, and see if they can just replace the clear part. I'm not really looking for an amazing fix, but something a little more long term than packing tape lol

hdb that really sucks, I had someone cut into my back window once to steal a textbook. What I did was I taped the inside of the window to keep the plastic together and applied a bead of silicone to the outside, it sealed it and made it waterproof but it looked like crap, you may be able to make it look ok if you take your time. I tried the clear packing tape and it worked for a while but got really dirty and started to come off in small pieces, it wouldnt come off nicely and left residue.

lynn Clear packing tape is the low-buck repair. The clear window section is bonded to the fabric, so replacing the clear section in the fabric portion isn't a viable option. Best bet is to look for one good used window. Check for-sale forums (often windows for sale, or look for someone "parting out" a rig similar to yours), or maybe get lucky with a boneyard find from a wreck.

Knifed window

some kind individual decided to knife one of my soft upper door windows, It's the actual clear window part, so I cant just glue it back like if it was the canvas, Is there a way to repair the window? or can i just replace the window with another piece of the clear material? I really don't want to spend 150 to buy a new one. I just have clear tape on it for now. Thanks.
