thats my rear sway bar
everyones been asking me about it
the guy at the tire place comes in and goes "You know you don't have a rear sway bar right?"
just to screw with him I said "no! I had one when I came in here!"
he had that worried look on his face
I gave him a couple seconds then told him I know haha
and about the wash, I'm plannin on gettin it a little dirtier this weekend
|01-17-2008 08:53 PM|
whats q tips? Milk jugs?
Also whats that hanging in front of the rear tire? Since its hanging on both (left and right side) i'd assume its your rear sway bar?
|01-17-2008 08:49 PM|
|Darton||Awesome!! Now just spray some fusion on those flares and as Scout said "lose the Q-tips".|
|01-17-2008 07:49 PM|
|AzTJ||Looks great! Did you install that new track bar yet? I think it need a bath to match those shiny new wheels.|
|01-17-2008 06:11 PM|

|01-17-2008 06:08 PM|

new 15x8 rims, 32 inch BFG A/T's
|01-11-2008 04:34 PM|
|AzTJ||Awesome. You got one hell of a deal on those wheels. Normally they are like $120 a piece.|
|01-11-2008 04:20 PM|
well I got them
they're in awesome shape, no scratches or anything
I'm gettin tires on monday or tuesday!
will get pics up when it goes down!
|01-11-2008 02:44 PM|
|nycom96||Looks good any pics with the new tires?|
|01-09-2008 11:10 PM|
so i gues the flange for that rim has to be little smaller than 1/2" wide on each side then?
then that would add up.. 8.86/2=4.43-1.18=3.25
I guess the whole 8" wide rim confused me.
Az check out post 40...
|01-09-2008 10:29 PM|
thanks guys for all your help!
buying the rims tomorrow!
|01-09-2008 06:30 PM|
Trip - do some more reading. -30mm is a perfectly fine offset. Offset and backspacing are different!
RatherB - If you can get those wheels, do it. You'll be fine, and thats a hell of a deal!
|01-09-2008 05:41 PM|
hhhmmmm i find that very weird that 4-1.18= "3 1/4"
|01-09-2008 04:13 PM|
Dude - those will be fine. They are Eagle Alloy Series 187.
Direct from the Eagle site:
15x8 Polished 5 on 4.5 Acorn -30 mm 3 1/4 3170-06 2100 lbs. 20 lbs.
It has 3.25" backspacing. Same specs as my wheels(Series 135). They are gonna stick out just as much as mine. And with 32" tires, maybe 3" on each side.
|01-09-2008 04:00 PM|
yeah I talked to him
its -30 mm
so I'm ok?
|01-08-2008 10:41 PM|
lets hope its -30.. double check on that. 8 / 2 = 4 - 1.18 = 2.82" BS
30mm = 1.1811"
