|TJNewbie||I've read several magazine reviews on treadwright tires, they got very good remarks. I also read reviews and comments by jeep owners that had them, they were also very pleased with them. I did consider getting them. but I got a good deal on my duratracs from tirerack, size 33x12.50x15 for $165 per tire, the same tire in a 31x10.50x15 size cost $160.|

If you are not afraid of retreads try here https://treadwright.com/default.aspx They will definately fit your price.
I had these on my TJ. They were very good tires and they come with a warranty. There are three different styles in the 31x10.50 r15 size.
When my stock tires on my JK are worn out I am going to get some 35s from them.
There will be several here that will talk down retreads, but if you read some of the threads on retreads you will see that the people who have or had them have nothing bad to say. This is a great company with a great product. Give them a look.

|ford-willy||Tires (rubber) has gone up so much the last couple years that a 500 budget just may not be enough. --- Check out the 4 sale forum for someone who has just bought a new Jeep and wants to re-wheel & tire it right away and sell their almost new stock tires. Good luck.|

Which tires ?
Does anybody know where i can get a set of tires for under $500 ? My tire size is 31x 10.50 , i go thru alot of mud and snow. if possible not ones that make alot of noise going down the road. Any ideas ?
