Irongrave I would personally run the JK44s before running a TJ44. might be a little work but its a hand full of link brackets and coil bucket you need to weld to the the housing

htkrph you should look up the built thread of the guy who added JK D44 and 35s and all AEV stuff. i think it was called like "awesome LJ" or something along those lines.

56cj5 97 to 06 are interchangeable as far as the whole axle goes... 07 to 11 are totally different ... Stick with all TJ parts. No JKs!

What years are the Dana 44s exchangeable?

I have 2000 Wrangler Sport with a Dana 35 3.73 gears. I found a Dana 44 with same gears out of a 2008 JK. Will it bolt in place of my Dana 35 without any modifications other than shorter drive shaft?
