if you can get to it good enofe...use a dremel and cut it back to a hex then just use a smaller socket.

did the same thing on my 89 yj i have a small mig welder so i welded a new nut ontop of the bolt and spunn it out took 3 -4 try's but i got it
when you weld the nut on it warms the bolt and helps release it a little bit of WD-40 helps too

|payj90||you stripped the head of the bolt right, i would take a impact socket a little smaller than the bolt and beat it on there with a hammer. if you dont have impact sockets take a 6 point craftsman socket and do the same, and if it breaks take it back.|

I'm trying to get the bold off of my starter, since it just died. i got the first one off with no problem, but then i tried getting the second one off and i stripped it. does anyone have any tricks to get a stripped bolt off?
