Its not as much as a picky cop as much as a jerk cop.

mrbigjeep most alloys are 4" BS and most steelies are 3.75". there are always exceptions but thats what most are.

sure, but 1/4" is still 1/4". if it didn't matter, they wouldn't offer the two sizes.
it doesn't really matter much for us here in texas as far as tire coverage laws because we don't have them, but in other states, that 1/4" could be all the difference with a picky cop.

You must not remember the Ice Bowl between Dallas and Miami on Thanksgiving Day back in 1993.

Triple88a yeah thats what i was wondering my self. From memory and the news last week, Nevada got ice that froze the canals and flooded a lot of towns.

I find it funny how we here in chicago had 60 degree F weather that week normal is bellow 20.
01-11-2008 02:21 PM
TXST8tj haha...that was our crazy freeze last year. we get those every other year or so around here. usually lasts a day at the most. but that's plenty of time for people to pile up the highways with accidents b/c they can't drive in it.
if we get to a point where my tires have iced over, i'll go ahead and stay home for the day.

Triple88a Milk jugs...

Thats what it looks without the jugs.
01-09-2008 10:13 PM
debruins yeah they sitck out about 7 inches from where the metal of the bumper ends, they're incae u hit a pedestrian they get puched aside rather than run over, but once they leave teh factory its fine to take them off,
but keep the back ones
nad i also suggest cutting the bumper down to two incches on either side of the fog lights, looks way better (do it an an angle, /-------\ )

Should I wack mine off too? Can someone post a pic with them whacked off? If I do take them off, I'll do the hammer route just to show off to you guys.

See those funky plastic end caps on your bumper? Those are the milk jugs that are being talked about............... Loose them, or they will get ripped off from wheeling. You do wheel, right?

TXST8tj haha....a jeep budget that is just about drained. maybe i'll have a little more to spend as soon as i can sell off some of the CJ stuff. still have a long way to go with this jeep.

erickpl Must be nice to have Jeep budget.

TXST8tj the jugs are coming off when i chop the bumper...hopefully this weekend. been short on time lately. had time to pull the flares one day. paint them another. still waiting on the chance to put them back on. they are still there in the first place b/c i was about to buy a new front bumper and wasn't going to waste my time with them, but i decided to get an air compressor instead.

i also have a new set of Hella 500s to mount on the windshield.
