In English that's a Metric 8mm diameter with 1.25 threads and is 35 mm long.

You can get the same at most auto parts stores.

If you are not mounting the seat any grade will work to plug the holes, but if you are going to install the seat, you would want a grade 8 standard or 10.9 metric hardness.

Thank you very much!

Do you know what size bolt this piece uses?

jkaufman_95 Yup you defiantly need those.. The seat wouldn't be secure in an accident.. Personally I just don't have a rear seat

geiman The 03 and up rear seat brackets are different than the older TJ's brackets. I believe on the older models those brackets are needed to hold the seat in properly, but I could be wrong. It's been a while since I last put the seat in my 98. My 04's rear seat is completely different.

TheTJRod What year Jeep you have? I have an 03 and I don't require an extra bracket to pivot the seat and from the way the seat mounts no other year should either. As it pivots on one of the required mounts to keep the seat in.

Ok, thanks. I think I have those in the box of parts that came with the jeep when I bought it. I have had the rear seat in but not those parts. Do they need to be there to secure the seat or is it just for a pivot.

doolyd Ok, I found out what is supposed to go there. Here is a pic from another thread. You see the black piece on the very front? It is on the right side of this pic and in front of the back seat belt bolt, it looks like it mounts to the bottom of the tub and the fender well What is it for?

Mystery Bolt holes in back of tub

I have four holes in the back of the tub, under and forward of the back seat. Does anyone know what size bolt goes into these holes and what they are for? It seems I have found a couple of bolts that really don't seem to serve any purpose but I don't know if these are that type. Example, there is a bolt on the left side of the passengers foot well that I really don't see what the point of it is. I would at least like to plug them because you can see the ground through them.

There are two on each side that are spaced like
