johnnymoha I've got a Bestop Trektop NX on a '14 JKU. The only thing keeping me from ordering the Gobi is if I can still lower the Gobi rack down with Sunrider folded back. It looks like it would fit, but that's a lot of money to spend on a guess.

Yes if you order one without the two vertical parts on the GOBI light bar. PM if interested.

Jakesdad So, how much does one of these actually hurt the MPG? Yeah I know, if I drive a jeep I shouldn't care blah blah blah. Well, I care. Anybody notice a significant difference? Thanks.

GOBI have started doing their own power coating in-house. They no longer use Cardinal paint and now use this brand Prismatic Powders: Powder Coating Colors. We can have your rack custom painted in most of those colors at no cost. Some colors require a UV clear coat which does add a few $.

This JK is owned by a recent customer and they opted for white to match the Jeep.
Has anyone done Gecko green, yet?

Yes, PM me, we can have GOBI weld on some brackets for a 50". The only issue with a 50" is that you can't also have the GOBI quick disconnects (no room).

azsandrider Can I get a quote for a 2dr 2012 JK hard top Rubicon stealth/driver side ladder/quick disconnects shipped to 85206

Also how much extra to custom paint white to match stock all white Jeep? Maybe hammer tone?

Not sure if I want black or spend extra to go white, depends on cost

I will prob go with 3 single row Lazerstar LED light bars, center straight forward and each side at a slight angle to right & left. Good quality for the money.... What configuration widths are there for 3 shorter light LED bars. I'm thinking either a 20" or 30" center and 10" on each side, if it will work...

thanks

Thanks!

EAD Offroad Yes on the first Gen AEV. The 2nd Gen has fitment issues and comes into contact with the rack supports. One guy made it work and think posted some details on the AEV forum.

Good to know. May need this to the (ever-growing) list of mods...

Thanks.

Speaking of this, can the rack be uninstalled easily? I think it looks great, but if I only needed it a few times per year, it would seem to be an unnecessary drain on the MPGs to drive with it year-round.

It's very cool nonetheless.

SullyRock71 Could you PM me details on the cost of a Gobi Stealth rack to 10704? Was thinking of putting a 50" led light bar on it like in one of the earlier pics here so trying to get it all figured out. Thanks!
04-15-2013 01:17 PM
HK_Runner Yeah, it will probably not be that close. My lift will net me 3.5 in front and 2.5 at the back, so chances are that it will not fit. I'll measure it a few weeks after my lift goes on and all settles down.

Similar dilemma here although I already have the Gobi rack installed. It's a great look and would be even better with 35s and a lift.

Yes we do. The colors available at no additional cost are here Cardinal Paint: Products. Avoid interior colors and colors requiring a top coat. We can handle the top coat (for UV protection) but it tends to make the racks look too shiny.

We can handle colors from other paint manufacturers but the cost for that is high running $400 and up.

If you need a physical sample card send me an email at alec@eadoffroad.com or PM and I can get them sent out to you.

stevensrb20 I put the Gobi Stealth on my Jeep back in October 2012. Love the look. Anyone found a good solution for a summer top that works well with the rack, protects from rain, and is easy to put up and down?
