|Mattiday||Wow awesome.. We got close to tatum lead but never actually got there because the trail I was on only connected by atv trails.. I'll try again though it sounds like a gold mine..|

|Richey81||It just the access road into the national forest there it's just one way in it can be accessed from hundred different was this is just the best way into tatum lead. The whole area runs as far north to into middle tennessee and western north Carolina and as far east as blue ridge and ellijah ga it's a huge area could spend weeks in there and never see it all.|

|Mattiday||Ok I'll keep that in mind.. Was peeples road on that trail system? Or just near there?|
|02-28-2012 11:02 PM|
|Richey81||I enjoyed the video. I live in chatsworth. If you continue on out thru to Peeples lake you find some more difficult trails. Warning though it's one easy place to get lost if your not careful it's the largest national forest in the state also connects to one of the largest wild life management areas in the state. Nothing but miles and miles of mountain and forest terrain. Plus it's the best bear and hog hunting the state.|

Also if y'all could repost this on like facebook and twitter. I'm trying to get go pro to use this video. so the more views and likes and shares it gets the more likely it is that they will see and use it.

|Mattiday||Pretty even for the time to the parking lot then on that trail.. It's pretty chilled just flat ground no extreme mud pits or big climbs at all. A stock jeep like yours could easily do it. But before you even get there, there is a trail before that that is pretty fun lots of mud and some sticky situations.. Big pits and a river crossing.. The front part of this earlier trail you could handle but the part after the river is wry muddy and a bit straining on some parts. I have the whole thing filmed on a go pro so if you'd like I'll send you that once its been published. Overall I'd give the main trail about a 2 or 3 in difficulty but it is still pretty fun just drive through the forest. (edit) I'd say about 5 miles all the way through it was a solid 3 hours though. I'm not exactly sure|

|kjg26||What kind of terrain? And how long of a trail is it?|
|01-18-2012 11:33 AM|
Hey I just went on a trail it wasn't to bad there are several spots that could be hairy if your not lifted its up in Chatsworth called tatum lead.. Directions: Take GA 52 east from Chatsworth about 1 mile. Turn right onto the Old Federal Road and go 4 miles. Turn left at the Peeples Lake/Rock Creek Trail directional sign onto Forest Service Road 3 and travel 5.9 miles to the trailhead parking lot.
You just need to get up there.. It's worth it..
