Maderor Did this a week ago while installing a pair of hella lights to my LJ. Hated the switch that it came with so replaced it with one from work I don't think the navy will miss it. Also added a sticker for some extra horsepower.

Im my earlier post I said I didn't need the washers. I was wrong. If I don't use the washers the bushing inside the rubber is the same size as the head of the lock pin. Which allowed it to come disconnected. With the washers in place that is impossible. A disconnect is just a easily removed mounting pin. With the disconnects your able to take them off by pulling the cotter pin on the end. No tools required.
I was in a hurry so only installed 1 pin. Hope that's enuff for you to get the idea.
Heres a pic of the disconnect in place on the passenger side. Driver side is just the same

Iceman Not sure that burner cover would stand up to the winds at driving speeds, but interesting idea.

I didn't instal it....just got a bigger fan for the radiator. Turns out he old fan was bugging out....this is the first summer I've had it...thought it may have been just a thing....went up in temp 5-10 deg while sitting in traffic.

Just started searching different ways to cool engine compartment....this is one I came up with.

I prefer doing my own mods........The louvers just aren't my thing.

Double_a914 I love the black grill. I had mine plastidipped for a year and bed lined it in the spring. For one it covered up the rock dings and two it will help protect from future ones.

Besides they made little tinkling noises with the washers on. Ill get installed pics if anyone wants.

Nothing in it that I'd get upset about. I don't keep my good tools in the jeep, just some old stuff that got moved out for newer stuff.

I've used mine a lot. Maybe that's just cause I have friends... Who am I kidding? I have kids so the back seat has to stay in and it is hiding my amps. Slide a padlock over the latch on the right side and you've got pretty secure storage in my opinion.
