|Nick||Lockers would change your life forever.... atleast the jeep part of it.|

|mrbigjeep||ok...ill think about my options and see what would be best|

|1BLKJP||IMHO Diff Guards would be the first thing I would put on my rig if I had to do it all over again. You can find them as cheap or expensive as you want. Mad4wd has a great deal going on Rockcrusher diff guards right now if you don't mind waiting a bit. Then other Armor I would say would be good. Or like I mentioned in another thread a tummer tucker belly pan.|

or if you're thinking of doing some wheelin', some skid plates would be a good investment: steering, radiator, gas, and rocker guards.
OR you could beef up your steering, like a beefier tie rod, steering stabilizer

|amerijeep||I say get you a nice Bestop that you can use with your full doors. If you sell the hard top, I think they go pretty high. I'm thinking they sell for $800 to $1000, but I'm not positive. I really have only seen them in passing. I never shopped for one.|

|mrbigjeep||yeah probably so...it never gets below freezing here where i live|
|08-07-2006 12:05 AM|
I really can't speak for a hard top in the winter because I have never had one. All I can say is I have never needed a hard top to stay warm in my Jeepie. It never gets very far below freezing here, and only for a short period of time.
I'm thinking a soft top is all you need for where you are.

|mrbigjeep||would it still be worth it to get it since the summer will be ending soon? when i had the top off i knew i needed a soft top so that the rain couldn't keep me from going out but i just never got around to it...that is what my buddy tells me to get|

|amerijeep||Aw Man, get a soft top. You'll never want that hard top after having a softie. Being able to drop that thing back anytime you want is sweet. Then you can sell that hard top and you'll have even MORE money to out back into the Jeepie.|

|mrbigjeep||and yeah i know for sure i will go bigger one day|
|08-06-2006 11:50 PM|
|mrbigjeep||i have a factory hardtop|
|08-06-2006 11:47 PM|
|amerijeep||What top do you have?|
|08-06-2006 11:30 PM|
|mrbigjeep||what kind of locker would you reccommend? any other ideas?|
|08-06-2006 11:26 PM|
Lockers would be awesome. Just one idea.
The Aussie locker is about the cheapest, and seems to hold up very well.
I could give you plenty of ideas, but ideas = $$$$$$$
After the lockers, I would at least get a highlift, so that you can get out, when you finally get stuck. Once you have saved up enough for a winch, then you will have nothing left, but to get bigger........lol

this may be a dumb question and it is a matter of opinion but i figured it would be nice to have a few opinions...ok i just got my new tires and wheels and i've sold the old tires and wheels and i have $400...so im not lookin to buy new tires and wheels or a lift anymore so what would yall reccomend/suggest?...of course i want to spend the money on the jeep but i just don't know what i want to buy...theres a couple things on my mind but i need some opinions...and nobody say catback exhaust cause i already got that
