ndrugby They didn't list a colour for my Jeep, but they did list the color as Green

HowardJ Wisconsin DMV registered my Rescue Green as "Light Green"
I registered it in my state after purchase (Indiana) and the ladies at the DMV looked confused because they saw it sitting out in the parking lot.

.. More like a Goose Shit Green not Light Green

It seems that the Massachusetts RMV has an "issue" describing my 2011 JK Sport "S".

The love of my life is Sahara Tan, but to MA DMV it is listed as being BROWN !!!!!!!!.

THIS got me to thinking how would MA RMV describe YOUR JK?
DOZER
MANGO TANGO
CRUSH
What descriptions would they come up with here I wonder?

Check out my BROWN JK in the attached pic!

Ya think you've got enough lights on that thing??

BTW.....Tan IS light brown. Jus sayin.....

Yozho Florida DMV lists my Rescue Green JKU as being RED.

jkaufman_95 All thats for is for leo's to positively id the vehicle, and green is enough to id it in that respect.
11-08-2011 11:11 PM

11-08-2011 11:08 PM

Station wagon? Last station wagon I saw was in the movie Used Cars, when the family drives off the lot, hits a big hole, and the tailgate falls off and dumps a buncha the family's kids into the street...

Raziel I need to check what they put for mine. I have the Natural Green Pearl. I would lmfao if they couldn't get the colour!

kjeeper10 Red rock = burgundy
11-08-2011 10:33 AM
AmericaOverland Ah... Someone there at the DMV used to work in retail and hates the marketers for using names for colors that make absolutely no sense. I was unhappy to read in road test reports from the 60s-70s and see that such dumb names had already been used for colors by that time.

kbwwolf My '03 Liberty, which is green, has always been listed as tan. Shoulda done a few bank jobs with it, in hindsight.

Now I'm in the same boat as kjeeper. Black.
11-08-2011 08:17 AM
Overtrained Brown isn't even close haha
11-08-2011 06:41 AM
kjeeper10 Ya, they use generic colors.

My silver Tj was listed as grey.

I'm gonna guess they can't mess up "black" lol
11-08-2011 06:20 AM
