Nick I agree with wranglerhawg it all depends on how you drive it. I ran a stock 35 with 4.88 gearing a locker and 35's for 6 months and never broke a thing [axle wise]. Guys put 60's in their rigs and still break them because of that heavy right foot.

mrbigjeep ok i see what you mean...don't buy them if you don't need's just a waste of money...but it's still a good thing that you got the 44 in the rear

WranglerHawg I figured most of you guys ran rocks, or rocky trails. Trust me though, i wish every day there was something like that around here, then it would give me the reason to go ahead and buy those bad ass axles, i would love to run 60s front and rear, but until in see a reason for it, i'll use my money else where.

jeeperman I think that you will find that most of us run rocks and/or rocky trails as a rule... I know that I have personally bent 3 Dana 35 shafts with 32" All Terrain tires and 3 more with 33" Muds, so I have a very low opinion of that axle. If what you are running is holding up for you, go with it, most of us are a little gun shy with the stock Jeep axles and tires that large, that's all. Have fun in the mud!!!

WranglerHawg Do most of you guys wheel mainly rocks? I had a Yj with a 35 in the rear, i ran 40 hawgs on it for almost 3 years and never once broke anything. Granted it was a 4 banger, so the power wasn't there, but i'm a creeper when it comes to the mud, which is all there is here in SW Florida. Just curious about where everyone rides. Everyone keeps telling me i need Dana 60s front and rear...honestly, i really dont think i need them, i am very very light footed when it comes to my jeep, and i still go through more then my buddies with 40's, V8s and a heavy foot. Jeeps that can Creep do the best, at least from what i have found.

mrbigjeep alright well it sure is better than a dana probably would have already snapped an axleshaft if you were runnin the dana 35

SurfnSnow x2 on what's been said before but also what axles are you running? Because the stock dana35 won't do well with the larger 37" tires. Also, if you have drum breaks in the rear, you might want to think about upgrading to disc breaks as well.

bluvikng I think in the long run, you would be happier with the 6" L.A. kit. It would be more stable, and safer.

mrbigjeep if your going that high in lift then i would wait and get a 6 inch long arm kit instead of will probably pay off and you might regret it if you don't...and long arm can help a lot with stability and performance when your lifting the jeep that high

Runnin 37 Boggers

Sorry for all the questions, but i cant make up my mind, looking for some opinions here. I currently have a 4 inch suspension lift, with a 3 inch body, run 35s. I was thinking about 2 inch spacers to run 36s, now i want 37s. I know i will clear them with 9 inches, but now im thinking i should just wait, save my money and just buy a 6 inch long arm kit instead of the 2 inch spacers.
