|MtnWayKennel||I have a friend that has found me a rear end complete for 300.00 .. so I will go that way and just rebuild my other for a spare. So my total is now up to 850.00 and I will install the rear end myself. My rear end acording to our dodge store is a 3:73 by vin.|

what do you plan on doing with the jeep, dd or toy?
i would fix any rust it has before i did any upgrades, its better to get it as quick as you can b/c before you know it you'll have a sweet jeep with no floor boards

1995 Rio Grande
the rear gear should be a 4:10 stock. I have the same jeep. My favorite upgrade so far was the Herculiner. And my Smittybuilt Wench. Another favorite is the Top Prop this keeps rain from sagging the top. Before the Top Prop I have had rain set on the top and sag it down to my shoulders.

I will post them up tonight. I am going to document everything I do to it and the total tally of cost step by step! I want to be cheap but do it nice so I am going to take the most popular suggestions from you "pros" and go from there!

My First Jeep! (Few questions)
Hey guys and gals I just got my first jeep! I am far from new to the offroad world but I am new to jeep's! I stumbled across a 1995 Jeep Rio Grande with the 4cyl auto! I stole this jeep for very little... it has a new top and a sound bar .... everything else seems to be stock. Now the bad part is the rear end (3:73) is shot in it... all bearing seals seem gone as the driveshaft wobbles. But after I fix that (Rye Valley Gear will rebuild for 300$ bucks complete if yall never heard of these guys you need to)... I am going to start taking suggestions on what to do to it next! I have the cash to play a little here and there right now (newly divorced ) so this will be a good winter/spring project! I will post pictures later today! So what do yall think I should do first!
