mangostene Do you know how many watts you have those rated at? I would think 250-270watts would be ideal to blare them out without much distortion.

nicolas-eric i have some sony 5.5" inthe front instead of the old pioneer 6x9 and they are much louder.

nicolas-eric 6x9s are oval and not as loud and good as round speakers.

Overhead Sound Bars?

Are there any soundbars out there that house 6x9s instead of 6 1/2"s?

I have a 91 YJ soft top and trying to get max volume out of speakers that won't destort as quick considering it's like being inside a rattle can driving inside the Jeep.

All I keep finding are sounbars with 6 1/2"s in them only. Trying to relocate my 6x9s in the back uptop so I have just a tad bit more real estate to cram my junk in.
