Your Jeep is sick. I'm not sure what kind of wheels those are but I like the silver trim. I bet that will cut down on road rash. Thanks for the extra jeep porn.

Very nice. How tall is that tire on the jeep?
What size wheels are those?

|oaksmith||OH by the way, yes the jeep is very clean under there! Just turned 100 miles when I sold the stock tires. Set on jack stands for the last two weeks and it is not a month old yet!!|

They do extend but now that I seen it, I would say about an 1/2 of the tread and of course more if you measure the balloning sidewall. Still not excessived IMHO

American Expedition Vehicles - Wrangler ProCal Module - Additional Vehicle Features and Calibration Tool
You have two options. Live with the TPMS warning light and chime, which can and will be activated by all sorts of little quirks in the system...or buy a Procal and reset your sensors' sensitivity (or disable them altogether).
If you're reluctant to spend the $$ cuz you think it's too much to spend on merely adjusting your TPMS, take a look at the link. The Procal pretty much pays for itself in other ways, as well.

And to make things even better, discount tire direct made a shipping mistake that delayed them for a few days and credited me $100 because of it. They were great to deal with.
When you consider I sold my stock tires and wheels for 500, the rebate, the hundred dollar credit plus another 50 for being a forum member I got the wheels and tires for $1100 out of pocket.

|ESP||Just be careful man because the shafts are very close in yours vs previous models hence why TF makes/recommends the extension spacers for the new exhaust.|

Me likie. Sharp look. Getting ready to change over to duratrac's too. Got a few more miles left on the 285 Nitto's. They look great in the picture and gives me a better idea of the actual look of the tire mounted on a jeep. Looks like ACE rock sliders? just put a set of those on my 09 along with OR FAB side armor.
Again, sweet set up!

Interesting. Don't they make and recommend the exhaust extension tubes they now produce for the 2012s with 2.5 or higher to prevent contact with the newer muffler system when at full droop?

|JohnT11||I had a few that were off and the light didn't turn on for about a week. Then it came on all the time. The system is a little stupid it seems. I wish there was an easy way to turn it off. I like the idea of it, but there are times when you need it to stfu.|

|cosmos||Ive had my new tires and wheels for about a week and 150 miles, tpms light hasn't come on yet. I was wondering if maybe they accidentally put some in mine too because I didn't order them. The stems don't look like the factory tpms valves, maybe the system just doesn't work. Which would be ok with me.|
|12-20-2011 08:11 PM|
|ESP||How did you deal with the exhaust manifold? Asked on the JKO forum too.|
|12-20-2011 07:51 PM|
|oaksmith||The thing that really confuses me is that the TPMS light is not staying on. If my new stems didn't have the sensors, wouldn't the light stay on?|
|12-20-2011 06:27 PM|
TPMS changed in year 2010 - both physically and I believe to a new frequency. So a '12 sensor shouldn't work in an '08 or '09 model.
Here's a pic I took of sensors. The one on the left is for an '08 an '09, The middle black one is the newer sensor. Yours should look exactly like either of the TPMS modules. The newer ones look like inexpensive valve stems, albeit a bit beefier.

2012 with 2.5 BB W/285's Duratrac's
Just took it off the jack stands, very please with the outcome!!
IMHO it is just enough to notice that something was done to the jeep but not to any extreme.
Bought the tires from Discount Tire Direct and didn't order the TSMS on the tires, but my TSMS light went off after a few seconds like it always did. I'm thinking I got a bonus!!! Is there anyway of checking if they did in deed but the sensors in by mistake?
