Cabledude First time for me on this Forum. I am in the process of looking for a older Wrangler, don't have a lot of money to spend, but want to get started. Mostly a weekend play vehicle. If any of you know of something let me know. Hoping to spend under $3500 but don't want a piece of junk either. By the way I live about an hour south of Lincoln, life long Husker.

Central City?

Do they still have the River Rats Association in Central City? Used to be huge, usually 50-150 Jeeps running the river.

Scout I'm not from Nebraska but I stayed in Lincoln for a week once. Is the Cornhusker Hotel there in downtown? It was about 15 or 16 years ago when I was there. I loved that town.

White93ARB Just a boring landscape, too. All flat, for a while. Wouldn't be too much wheelin fun other than mud.

Then its aged about 10 years sine the last time I went through there, about 2 years ago..
I could have swore I stepped back to the 1960's, nothing but old GMC and ford trucks everywhere I looked

One more husker

Just got my 1st Jeep - love the Rocky Mountains - more into photography than climbing but love my new toy!!!!

My wife and I live near Fort Calhoun and go to Pagosa Springs, CO for a big Parelli horse conference every Sept at a minimum. Last year we spent a week in RMNP/Estes Park it was awesome!
