tiny terror Well, it is still raining, and as of about midnight my road was closed due to all the mud washing down off the hillsides. For some reason people who put in grapevines do not have to worry about erosion like the home owners do.

Amazingly, we have snow plows here in sunny Temecula. They're for mud, so hopefully the road will be clear enough for them to open it before I need to head into town. Not that I can't get through, but I hate to have to swerve around all the people who can't.

I need sun.

I need a tan.

I need a freaking towel. Crud.

1BLKJP TT I feel your pain. Living here in the desert for the past 7 years I have also gotten accustomed to the sunshine. At over 300 days here in PHX we don't mind the occasional cloudy day, but more than 3 in a row and people start getting grouchy.

However it has been absolutely gorgeous here the past week or so. Hope if holds up thru the FBR Open and the Super Bowl.

sgnellett Tiny, I feel your pain. We routinely get a month or so each winter where it never gets above freezing, sometimes we'll go for weeks on end where it stays below 0! And often, that is with just enough snow to make driving tricky, but not enough to go out and have fun in it! Plus, it's just too cold to take the kids out, so everybody starts getting a little stir crazy... come on spring!

kg4kpg Been cold and rainy here the past few days as well. Sucks because we get no snow for winter either, just rain and fog.
