|bobthetj03||You may need the MML if you get driveline vibes after installing the BB. If you do get vibes, the MML may help. It will also set you up for a TT later on.|

Basically, Get a 2" BB Kit, install everything with it. Get a 1" Body Lift Kit, install everything with it, and move the fan shroud, and your done. You will keep for stock drive shaft and control arms. IMO, you could get a 2.5" suspension kit with a 1/4" BL for $390. Jeep TJ Suspension Lift
I ran my 2" BB and 1" BL for many years and didn't add anything else until I added the 4" Lift Kit.

|clunker||So if i plan to do the BB lift and a body lift, I will have to do the motor mount lift, and can I get away without much other modification, or is there anything that is completely necessary to do? This is basically for on road use....|

Hello, I too have a X model and transformed it into the Jeep of my dreams. When I first started I ran a 2" Rubicon Express Budget Boost lift with a 1" Body Lift and 33s. I loved it. Now I run a bigger lift and tires. Take your time and decide how you want to do it, and your financial situation because it will get expensive! Everything bobthetj03 says is true, and I did all of it over seven years. So save up and have fun with it!

|bobthetj03||Welcome aboard! BB's can stiffen up the ride quality, so be prepared for that. With a body lift, you may want to also do a motor mount lift. If you don't you will have to adjust the fan shroud for clearance. The motor mount lift will also help with possible drive line vibes you may encounter when lifting. Bigger tires also means more weight, more rolling mass, so your brakes will suffer the consequences. Your speedo will be off, and your gearing will be affected. Lifting will throw your front and rear axles off to one side as well, so you will need to re-center them with either a relocation bracket for the rear track bar and a adjustable track bar in the front. Some redrill the axle side hole to reposition the front TB, but I don't reccommend that.|

|clunker||Now that I have my jeep registered and insured its time to begin the modding... Was thinking about a 2" BB lift and 1" body lift so I can run 33" tires like in the picture... You guys have any suggestion on brands and will I need to modify any other components... I plan to post progress pics here as I do things make it a build thread.|

Those are 15x10 rims with 33x12.5 tires.
What are you planning to do with it? Are you off roading or strictly on road? If off road how serious?
How much do you really have to spend?
To put this on for the street, you can get by with a budget boost and you may need a small body lift. That will cost you around 250-300 for the suspension.
For off road, need 3-4" of lift. You can spend the 300 for budget boost/body lift to 800-900 for a higher end lift.

New owner of 2002 Wrangler X - question about some mods!
Hey guys I am new around here, just purchased a 2002 wrangler X... have a few questions about what it will take to make it into the wrangler I have always wanted...
Here is the wrangler as I bought it...
Here is what I want to achieve. I have loved this look for a long time. Anyone know what kind of wheels/tires and sizes this is? and what kind of suspension mod will I need to achieve this height and look?
