XJ Knight Do yourself a favor and start by getting new rims with the proper bs.. start there.. Anything past a 31x10.5 you will need new rims or spacers.

doclouie The real concern with rubbing is in the back. If the tire rubs on the spring seat it will eat the tire's side wall. The only fix for this is wheel spacers or different rims. If the rear tire is rubbing you will not make it home from the tire store before it destroys the tire.

Will the 32X11.50R15LT fit without spacers? Im sure they will rub, but i can always add spacers or washers after the tire install

doclouie Be aware that some shops will not touch your wheels if there are spacers on the vehicle.

Jared234 You cant run 12.5" wide tires on stock rims without them rubbing on the sway bar in the front and the spring perches in the rear, which will rip the sidewalls.

You will need Wheel Spacers, but preferably a wheel with more backspacing

4cylToy I'm getting a gift card to here, thats why i have a limited supply to tires. Would these wheel spacers allow me to run the 33x12.5x15? I planned on getting the 32x11.5 but they only run on 16'' rims and i have 15" stock steelies.

Gift card to:
Glotfelty Tire Center is your best source for tire sales and auto service. - Glotfelty Tire Center

Wheel spacers:
Synergy Suspension 4111-5-45- - Synergy Suspension Hubcentric Wheel Spacers for 84-06 Jeep® Vehicles - Quadratec

Do you recomend getting the wheel spacers and then taking it to the shop and see if they will fit? Im sure the guy there will try and talk me out of getting the 33's since they wont fit very well..

Thanks for the input

doclouie I believe those are stock rims. If they are you will not be able to get 12.5" wide tires on there without them contacting the rear axle spring seat. Spacers or new rims will be needed. I run DCs on my Jeep and I really like them. They are a lot softer than most tires so realize you will not get the same mileage out of them.

IndyJeepMan Where are you buying tires that only carry dick cepek? I dont have any experience with them, but there are much better choices out there. Id look elsewhere if they only carry one brand of MT

Racks ;)

Im going to buy tires within the week. Im looking at the Dick Cepek Mud Country and DC Crushers. I really only have these two choices because the only off-road treaded tires they sell are Dick Cepek. I have a '98 4cyl with a 2.5'' suspension lift. My question is will the 33x12.5 fit under my jeep? I currently have 31x10.5 and they rub alittle on full turning. I understand i will lose a lot of power with 33's on a 4cyl but the 31's just arent big enough! And any pics of 2.5'' lift and 33's would help. If the problem is that they will rub while turning, i will look into some 1.5'' wheel spacers off They run $79.99/pair. Any input will help!
