She reminds me of my home economics teacher in high school. Her 19 year old son was not allowed to watch cable tv or any movie that wasn't a Disney movie. I felt really bad for him and his siblings.
Anyway get him a netflix membership and let him pick for him self?

Here's a very strange scenario for you...
Long story short: my brother is finally getting a divorce (which is actually a good thing). In talking to him we realized that his wife has not allowed him to, among other things, watch any real movies for the past 17 years. (yes 17 years) If it wasn't a Disney or related flick...he hasn't seen it.
He missed Saving Private Ryan, Philadelphia, the Matrix Series, the Blade Series, 300, Band of Brothers, anything with Jackie Chan, anything with Jet Li, etc. The list is HUGE! The last real movie he remembers seeing is along the lines of Die Hard part >1<.
So here's the odd question: since he's been out of the picture for 17 years and wants to "catch up" on movies...what would you recommend?
