|BlueBoy||Success! I put it on cruise control at 60 and sent a mile in a minute. I am pretty darn happy. As for the shifting, when I acclerated slower, I could feel it at 20 and 40 and so on. Plus, I am sure I would hear something if I was in the wrong gears. In conclusion, for like 20 bucks max, your speedometer can be accurate.|

|mrbigjeep||well how did it go?? in 4wd catalog they got these speedo gears that you buy for your model and i don't think they would sell them if they were the wrong thing so i think you can just change the speedo|

|BlueBoy||I have an 05 X. If anyone knows for sure that a computer runs it all like in the rubicon or if you can just change the speedo, please let me know. It just never ending, results of the highway drive in t minus 90 min.|

|BlueBoy||I am taking it on the highway later tonight. I will report back. If I wasnt in the right gear, wouldnt I be hearing some horrible noises?|

What I am afraid of here, is that you do have the PCM computer, and now you have changed the parameters.
How is the speedo reading on the highway?

|amerijeep||Might have affected the computer, I guess... I don't know though.|

Might sound dumb but with the new speedo in, I dont feel the jeep shift until 40 mph or so. I do have an auto but you can feel it shift. Call me crazy but I thought the first shift happened before 40 mph. Did the speedo affect something or am I just trying to find problems?
