srad600 Winter is coming and its going to be cold if your out and stuck.

A friend and I were out on Saturday and stumbled onto a ford bronco with 5 ppl in it wheeling alone in the cold and stuck deep. Luckily we were there and got em out. It'd be nice to have ppl to call.

I wheel a lot in Wharton- almost every other weekend. Running a TJ on 31.5 x 10.5 duratracs, smitty 8k winch, snatch bloc, tow straps, and tools always in the back. Cell- 6093503595. If I can help, I will!

rich jazz Great idea, everyone will need help at one time. Just need to get to the pic. We should make a list of people who will help out, and post it in there.
09-20-2012 02:17 PM
srad600 I dont know if that includes free recovery or not. I my self was stuck out in wharton not that long ago but with a much different situation. I needed the jeep towed home. They wanted over 200 bucks. I ended up limping it out of the woods and getting a tow home that cost me 85 from a regular tow company.

Potts I just want to say I think this post is pretty awesome and says a lot about the type of people driving jeeps. Peace! Maybe one day I'll be in a position where I could help someone out...

Out and check out Pine Barrens Jeep. You can become a member there and they will come and get you out of Wharton anytime from what I understand. For like $100 a year or something I think I read.

srad600 Nope no calls except to a tow truck which ran him over a bill. I'd have done it for a beer.
