WastedAccounts Well that was a project. I'll admit, I was working alone and had almost 15gal of gas in the tank but still it was quite a workout. 4 bolts had to be cut off with a die grinders and showers of sparks near a fuel system with a leak. At least when I have to redo it the bolts will be in better shape. What a ridiculous task though to replace two 2ft pieces of fuel line. I got it done but I'm going to have to do it again if I'm keeping this one. The skid plate could use replacing and all my body mounts are crushed and could also use replacing as well.

At least I'm gas leak free now.

sevenservices save yourself headaches in the future... use double hose clamps on each end instead of just one. I've had 'em pop off and it was leaking again... one of those leaks where you could only see it if someone was on the gas pedal revin it up a little.

Been great now since last summer when we used two clamps back there.

flatline drop tank or lift body. I've done both. dropping the 20 gallon tank was a pain. doesn't just drop staight out.

WastedAccounts It was dripping from where the red arrow is. Am I going to need to drop teh tank to replace these lines?

flatline make sure you buy the high pressure fuel line. I believe the one behind the filter is 3/8 about 8" long. the front is 5/16 8". buy long and cut. this is from memory so hope I'm close.

Gas leak

Well my 95 SE is leaking gas from some rotted fuel lines. It's happening above the rear axle for sure but probably close to happening somewhere else. I'm going to replace all the soft fuel line in the back at least today but I don't know what size they are. I rode the Moto to work and I'm stuck here all day so I can't get outside to figure it out right now.

Anyone know what size and lengths of fuel line I'm going to need? I'm planning to run out for lunch and grab them. Thanks.
